The Inaugural Council meeting of Madibeng Local Municipality took place yesterday, 22 November 2021 and elected Cllr Dishego Mbezi as Speaker, Cllr Douglas Maimane as Executive Mayor and Cllr Elsie Kgautle as Single Whip. 

The establishment of Council Committees is expected to take place in the next Council meeting.
